Ger the butcher's cuts and enjoy special treats. Liked our food a lot. Mear was a little undercooked, but we sent it back and they fixed immediately.

Always a good experience at Urban Butcher. I asked for a bottle of wine to be waiting at my table and they called before my reservation time to ask what kind. Great service, great food, overall my favorite restaurant in Silver Spring. It is very hard to find quality service anywhere in Silver Spring but this place always is spot on.

Love this place! You have to get the meat tower! It’s all meat; all kinds of meat. And a side of mashed potatoes and broccoli- that’s green, so that makes it healthy right? And for the app get the charcuterie board. Also awesome. Normally they have a decent beer selection and great mixed drinks. Love the Moscow Mule there. Wish I could say I have tried more of the wines but honestly I haven’t explored the wine list enough yet. I have always had great service at both the tables and the bar. If you are in the area and you are a carnivore you have to try the Urban Butcher.

I got a simple burger and fries. The patty was dry and salty. The fries were not crisp and yet they were still hard and dry. The cashier was pleasant. I did get the meal to go maybe it’d be different if I had the opportunity to dine in 😬.

I've been to Urban Butcher many times before and always loved the food. However, recently I found out that they were skilled at pulling off group events as well. Our server was patient, funny, attentive and skilled. They were able to keep the room on the left side of the restaurant exclusive to our party so it really felt intimate.Oh! And do NOT miss the tiramisu - it's made tableside so the ladyfingers are still crispy.

Absolutely delicious, from start to finish. The hostess was extremely nice and our server was quick, knowledgeable and paid attention to detail. The service was quick, the food was warm and the water glasses always filled. The cocktails we're delicious, as was the wine. All of the appetizers we're very good and all of the meat dishes were perfectly spiced and perfectly cooked, including chicken, pork, lamb, beef burger and a ribeye. Absolutely perfect meal. We will all be back

A chic upscale steakhouse that offers a wide variety of meat styles and preparation options. The sides such as the cucumber and strawberry salad are just as unique. Parking options are a nightmare so plan ahead and be ready to walk a block or two.

Had the steak and fries and striploin with grilled veggies. We splurged on the chocolate souffle with goat cheese gelato. Everything was fantastic. The house wine was perfect. Great servers and atmosphere made for a fun evening even with the virus scare in full force. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing service, the guy who waited our table was so kind and personable! He really added to the overall experience. We went during restaurant week and loved the mountain of meat. I will say there was a bit of an issue since on the restaurant week menu the mountain of meat price and limitations was not very clearly written. At the end of all the confusion the manager came out and did explain it clearly. However I feel the menu could of been more straight forward. The overall experience was great since the food was amazing as well as the drinks.

I had a great time here! I had been here before during happy hour with co-workers when the place had just opened and although I enjoyed the food, being surrounded by noise in a packed place just isn't my cup of tea. This time I took my wife and some friends on a sunday evening, the place was not empty but there were plenty of free tables. Our waitress Monique was very attentive and friendly. Our food came out on time and was very good. The atmosphere was great, we all felt relaxed and comfortable sitting on the edge of the restaurant on a breezy summer day. The star of the show for me was the passion fruit creme brulee. My party really enjoyed the food and the service and they wanted to know when we would be back! try to come by when there is no rush. my only complaint would be the loud music coming from all the way across the street but we kinda blocked it after the first ten minutes. Will definitely come again!

The food was awesome big portion 45$ each for the meat tower , 40$ for pitcher of lavender margarita bout six small cups ..SAVE more for dessert (will melt in your mouth)... the restaurant was cool looking inside /slightly outside with the garage door look , very unique bathroom . #NOFILTER .. and a cool Meat cellar .. open kitchen so you can see food getting prepared to order. . Will definitely go back .

Great food, fun atmosphere especially at happy hour. Lots of customers order the pitcher of lavender margaritas, I only drank one. Lol. Grilled salmon was excellent and steak was good too! They have aged ham for the pork lovers.

Food is delectable and on point every time we come here. The selection of all the charcuterie and steaks cut and aged in house make this a must for any true carnivore. Be sure to bring your appetite and good company for a great meal.

Forget fancy dishes with ingredients you need to Google just to know what your ordering. This is place is owned by a guy who focuses on one thing and does it well rather then trying to run a science lab of experimental cuisine. Most of the meats and charcuterie are made and aged in house, the whole fish is fantastic, the grilled artichoke hearts are a meal into themselves, and the bone marrow is a great dish to share as you slowly listen to the sweet sounds of your arteries slamming shut. If you can find a night when the owner is cooking, the dry aged steaks are among the best I've ever had. The Meat Mountain (for two) is a good dish for sampling or if you aren't sure what you want but I prefer the individual mains overall.

Recommend this restaurant. Tried the hangar steak, meat/cheese board and cheese pepper app. All items were good. Menu is straightforward aside from what we tried everything looked good. Interior is open and you can watch the goodness being prepared in the kitchen. Ambient noise is low and room is bright. Staff is helpful and describe items in detail.

I come to this special place often since I enjoy the good mood that is unique to this restaurant. The team is extraordianrillyremarkably attentive and well trained. The service is extremely rapid. Not to mention, the food they serve is perfect. I have been there more than once and I was always satisfied. The cost is fair. I highly recommend this place to to everybody.

We had a terrible experience dining with you on Valentine's Day. I emailed you explaining what went wrong. After hearing nothing, I sent a second email. Still no response. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, as it matches the awful service we received on-site. You used to be one of our favorite places in Silver Spring, but now your staff is inattentive, the quality of food does not match the price, and the new interior design is garish. I look forward to spending my money elsewhere.

Absolutely superb. Dry aged ribeye was oh so tender. I liked the mashed potatoes as well. Everything was on point in the "dinner for two."Gotta try the Nutella donut. Perfect after dinner treat. Big ups for staying open in these crazy times 👍

It was okay. Honestly the steaks were just okay. I could have made a better one at home rather than pay 60 dollars for one.
